Recycling for Packaging & E-Commerce

Packaging converters and e-commerce fulfillment centers generate constant streams of OCC, plastic film, poly mailers, strapping, and trim, from production lines on one end and high-volume shipping docks on the other. CRI provides the equipment, containers, and pickup cadence to keep both clean and turn that packaging waste into a revenue stream.

Turn Packaging and Parcel Volume Into Revenue

Converting and assembly lines produce a steady flow of trim, off-cuts, film, and cores, clean, high-grade, and generated in volume. E-commerce fulfillment sits on the other side of the same problem: inbound corrugate, poly mailers, void fill, stretch wrap, and a constant churn of returns and overbox cartons. Both are some of the most valuable recyclable material a facility can have, if they are captured properly instead of crushed into a compactor as trash.

CRI places balers and containers right at the line and at the dock, sets a pickup rhythm that matches your output and your shipping flow, and ships each grade mill-direct. The result is a cleaner floor, a faster dock, and a rebate check on material that was previously just in the way.

Materials We Handle

  • OCC, corrugate trim, and shipping boxes
  • Poly mailers and void fill
  • Plastic film, shrink, and stretch wrap
  • Strapping, banding, and cores
  • Returns and overbox cartons
  • Wood crates and pallets

Compactors and balers at the line and the dock

Equipment placed where trim, film, and inbound corrugate are generated, capturing material at the source where it is cleanest and worth the most.

Pickups timed to production and shipping flow

Service cadence matched to your run rate and your outbound volume, so scrap and OCC leave the floor as fast as your lines and your dock make them.

Revenue on every material stream

OCC, film, mailers, and strapping graded and shipped mill-direct, rebated against current commodity markets.

Packaging & E-Commerce Recycling FAQ

Do you handle the cardboard and poly mailers from our fulfillment center?

Yes. High-volume e-commerce fulfillment generates a constant churn of inbound OCC, poly mailers, void fill, stretch wrap, and returns packaging. CRI sizes balers and compactors to that volume, schedules pickups around your shipping flow, and ships the fiber and film mill-direct so it comes back as a rebate instead of a hauling bill.

Is our production trim worth recycling?

Almost always. Line trim and off-cuts are clean, sorted by nature, and generated in volume, which makes them high-value. CRI grades and ships them mill-direct so you capture that value instead of paying to dispose of it.

Can you place equipment right at our lines?

Yes. We size and position balers and containers at the point of generation so material is captured clean and handling is minimized. That keeps the floor clear and the grade high.

Can you run the same program at all of our plants?

Yes. CRI runs multi-site programs under one agreement with consolidated reporting, so every plant gets the same equipment, cadence, and accountability with one point of contact.
