CRI handles hazardous and industrial chemical waste for businesses and manufacturers in truckload and bulk quantities, picked up from your facility on a scheduled basis. This is a commercial service scoped to your generator status and stream profile.

We do not accept household hazardous waste, walk-in drop-offs, or single containers of consumer paint, aerosols, or chemicals. If you are a resident looking to dispose of paint or household products, contact your county or municipal household hazardous waste program.

One Partner for the Stuff Most Recyclers Won't Touch

Most commercial recyclers stop at paper, plastic, and metal. Hazardous waste then becomes its own contract, its own dispatcher, and its own paperwork stream. CRI runs hazardous waste as part of your overall program, EPA-compliant transporters, signed manifests, and documented end-disposal, alongside the materials we already handle for you.

Whether it's used oil from a maintenance shop, off-spec solvent from a coatings line, lab packs from a QA bench, or universal waste from a building cleanout, we scope the program to your generator status and stream profile. The goal is the same as everything else CRI does: turn an operational headache into a managed, transparent line item.

Do you accept household hazardous waste or walk-in drop-offs?+
No. CRI is a commercial recycler serving business and industrial generators. We do not accept household hazardous waste, consumer paint or aerosols, or walk-in drop-offs of any kind. Hazardous streams are picked up from commercial facilities in truckload and bulk quantities on a scheduled basis. If you are a resident, contact your county or municipal household hazardous waste program for paint and similar household products.
Does CRI handle hazardous waste at every facility?+
Hazardous waste runs through CRI's compliance partners and licensed transporters, scoped to your generator status and the streams you produce. We coordinate the pickup, paperwork, and end disposal so it ties into the rest of your recycling program rather than living as a separate vendor relationship.
What about manifests and chain of custody?+
Every shipment moves on a Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest with EPA ID numbers, DOT-compliant labels, and tracked chain of custody from your dock to the destination facility. You receive signed copies for your records and audit trail.
Can hazardous waste pickups ride alongside other CRI loads?+
No. Hazardous streams are kept separate from your standard recycling for safety, regulatory, and equipment reasons. CRI coordinates the schedule so haz pickups slot into the same operational rhythm as your paper, cardboard, plastic, and metal pickups, but the trucks and trailers are dedicated.
How is pricing handled?+
Hazardous waste is priced by stream, container size, frequency, and disposal method. Some streams are recoverable and offset cost; others are pure disposal. CRI quotes the program transparently after a facility walk-through and stream profile review.
What if our facility only generates hazardous waste occasionally?+
One-time and occasional pickups are common for commercial facilities. Lab packs, lab cleanouts, building moves, and spill remediation can be handled as scheduled project work without a recurring program. These are still commercial jobs picked up from your site, not household or single-container drop-offs.
