Does CRI buy used pallets?+
Yes. CRI purchases used pallets of all types and conditions. Whether hundreds or thousands of pallets to recycle monthly, we provide pickup and pay competitive rates. We also accept broken pallets for recycling into new products.
What grades of recycled pallets does CRI sell?+
CRI offers the largest variety of upcycled 48x40 grades in Chicagoland, along with custom recycled hybrid pallets and new built-to-order pallets. We carry A's/#1's (top quality, minimal wear), B's/#2's (sound condition, best value), stringer and block pallets, heat-treated for export, plastic pallets, and custom sizes. GMA-spec pallets are available as a separate grade — not every 48x40 meets GMA, and we label both clearly.
Can CRI build custom pallets to my specifications?+
Yes. CRI offers both custom recycled hybrid pallets made from reclaimed lumber and new built-to-order pallets. Provide your dimensions and load requirements, and we'll build pallets that fit your exact application.
Does CRI handle heat-treated (HT) pallets?+
Yes. CRI sells ISPM-15 compliant heat-treated pallets stamped for international export and FDA-regulated environments. Heat-treating eliminates pests and meets the requirements of every major importing country, no customs holds, no fumigation delays, no rejection at port.

Absolutely. CRI manages pallet recycling and removal at any scale. We provide regular pickup schedules for facilities that accumulate pallets continuously, and we handle one-time cleanouts for warehouses clearing excess inventory.
