Yes. Elwood is about 50 miles from our Addison facility, and we run daily routes into CenterPoint Intermodal Center and Logistics Park Chicago, scheduled or on-demand. For docks moving container freight twenty-four seven, we place spotted trailers so OCC and pallets keep flowing without waiting on a single weekly stop.
Our volume is almost all corrugated. Does that make it simpler?
It does. Inbound container loads generate high-volume OCC, dunnage, broken pallets, and stretch wrap at industrial scale, and that is exactly what our high-volume OCC and pallet buy-repair-return programs are built around. We still cover the film, paper, and any metal or rigid plastic on the same agreement, but the corrugated is where the scale is.
Why not just run it all through the compactor?
Because none of that corrugated belongs in a compactor priced as garbage. We weigh every load on state-certified scales and bale stretch wrap and OCC as commodities, so the material a Logistics Park DC generates by the trailerload comes back as revenue instead of a disposal line.
